So great to see constituents turn out to protest the Rep. Jim Hagedorn's corruption and ethics violations. We gathered to say, “Enough is enough!” The constituents of Congressional District 1 in southern Minnesota deserve a representative who doesn't skirt the rules and put cronies over constituents. First was the scandal when Hagedorn’s office funneled almost $500,000 of taxpayer funds non-Minnesota companies campaign staffers and their relatives. Then the story about how he didn't disclose that he was being interviewed regularly on the radio by a paid consultant. Most recently, it was reported that Rep. Hagedorn, in violation of election laws, has not been paying rent on his campaign office! No one knows who owns the building where the office is supposedly located, and the office itself is mysteriously difficult to find! We deserve better. Vote him out on Nov. 3rd or earlier! |
