Who We Are
Picture
We are a    non-partisan group dedicated to positive, progressive action to make people’s lives better and to create a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive world. We seek to bring people together and inform, inspire, and empower members to take action.
Our Philosophy:
LGBT rights are human rights.
Protecting our planet is important.
Everyone deserves healthcare.
All religions deserve to be valid.
Diversity makes communities better,
All humans should be treated with respect.
We are inspired by The Indivisible Guide, a document written and distributed by former congressional staffers in December after the 2016 presidential election. The Guide provided concrete tips on how to organize effectively to resist the Trump administration’s increasing attacks on already marginalized groups, American civil liberties, the environment, the norms and institutions of our democracy, etc.

By February 2017, over 6,000 Indivisible chapters had been established nationwide, all of which are independent, grassroots advocacy groups. Join us in our fight for democracy and the rights and dignity of our friends, families, neighbors, and fellow human beings all over the country.
